Comparison Distribution of Vibrio Species in Stocking to Harvesting Process of Shrimp at Commercialize Shrimp Farm

Vibrio species is one of the pathogenic bacteria infecting shrimps in aquaculture farm has caused severe loss to farm. The aim this research isolate and compare presence spp. commercialize shrimp during stocking process final harvest phase productions. Quantification isolation were conducted measured using Log CFU (colony forming units) counts morphological investigation gram staining conventional biochemical test identification. A total sixty-four (n=64) sediment water samples collected from inlet outlet two selected ponds (Pond Pond B) Kampung Telaga Air, Kuching, Sarawak. As a result, count period at both ponnds 6.6 CFU/ml 5.6 while harvesting 5.3 5.8 CFU/ml. Meanwhile, sediments 5.5 CFU/g 5.7 whereas showed pond 5.2 4.8 CFU/g. finding sp. identified V. parahemolyticus with 27%, followed by alginolyticus (22%), cholerae (16%). fluvialis (14%) 7% fulmisi vulnificus mimicus. 29%, (19%) 10 % , mimicus vulnificus. study been carried out further investigated Antibiotic Susceptibility Test (AST) erythromycin (15 ug/ml), ampicillin (10 streptomycin (25 ug/ml). positive cultures Ampicillin resistant profile was > 0.2 MAR index fifty percent (50%) isolates ampicillin. Therefore, profound implications for monitoring towards order prevent any infection which shrimp’s disease or food safety issue related public consumption future.
